Turning photographs and scans into one document
A PDF is what people ask for when they want something that arrives looking the way you sent it. Receipts for an expense claim, photographs of a signed form, pages captured with a phone instead of a scanner — all of them are easier to handle as a single document than as a folder of loose images.
Page size follows each image’s orientation here, so a landscape photograph gets a landscape page and a portrait one gets portrait. That avoids the common annoyance of a scanned page arriving sideways or floating in the middle of a sheet with white margins on all four sides.

What order will the pages come out in?
The order you arrange them in before you build the document. Rearrange them first, then create the PDF.
Can I mix portrait and landscape images?
Yes. Each page is sized to suit the image on it, so a mixed set comes out sensibly rather than forcing everything into one orientation.
Should I compress the photographs first?
If they came straight from a phone, usually yes. Ten unshrunk photos can produce a PDF of thirty megabytes or more, which many email systems will reject. Running them through the compressor first typically brings that down by 80 to 90 per cent with no visible difference.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
No fixed limit. Everything is assembled in your browser, so the practical ceiling is your device’s memory rather than a rule we impose.
